The Meeting of representatives of Slovak - Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (SIOK) and representatives of Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) for was realized on 8th October 2008 on request of SIOK. Representatives of SIOK Mr. Milan COMPEL and Mr. Tomas ZIAK informed representatives of SARIO Mrs. Katarina SCEPKOVA and Mrs. Andrea CHOVANCOVA about establishment of SIOK, about fields of potential cooperation to enlarge Slovak Indonesian economic cooperation and about the mission of SIOK going to Indonesia for 23rd Trade Expo 2008. Both sides agreed on cooperation, mutual support and exchange of information. At the end of their meeting both sides agreed on next meeting after the arrival of SIOK’s representatives from Jakarta. |

The 23rd Trade Expo Indonesia 2008 is set to open on 21 - 25 October 2008. Following its previous shows, Trade Expo Indonesia 2008 will showcase all Indonesian export products ranging from industrial, mining, agricultural to Craft sectors. |

Representatives of SIOK the President Mr. Milan Compel , the 1st Vice-President Mr. Julius Drugda and the Vice-President Mr. Tomas Ziak met on September 11, 2008 with Mrs. Emeria Siregar, the Director of the Directorate for Central and Eastern Europe of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Indonesian Republic accompanied by Mr. Made P. Sentanajaya , the 2nd Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia at working luncheon. |

Reception on occasion of 63rd Anniversary of Independence of Indonesia |

On September 16, 2008 the Indonesian Republic remarked the 63rd anniversary of the independence by organizing a great reception. The reception is an every year highlight of Embassy`s culture events. The undertaking was held in the rooms of Technopol building in participation of 200 visitors. All representatives of SIOK Presidium i.e. Milan Compel, Julius Drugda, Tomas Ziak and Zuzana Suskova took part on this spectacular event. The visitors had chance to taste the Indonesian specialities listening the tones of authentic Indonesian music – Gamelan. |

Our Slovak - Indonesian Chamber od Commerce had the pleasure to be invited by The Embasy of the Republic of Indonesia to Parahyangane Catholic University Choir concert at Slovak Radio (Slovenský Rozhlas). We had the oportunity to watch and listen to this choir showing attractive dances and singing beautiful music. It was lead by famous Indonesian conductor Mr. Avip Priatna. aaaa |
